Thank you to all that helped to decorate the church for Advent.   The decorations are Beautiful!!

Many thanks to our congregation for your generous support of the Deacon’s Thanksgiving Boxes again this year.  This year we (the Methodist Church, Salvation Army and us together) were able to provide 40 Thanksgiving boxes that fed 145 people, compared to last year’s 28 boxes, serving 108 meals.  Each box average cost was under $50. Most of the groceries were purchased locally at Fareway and on sale.  God’s blessings to all of you for making this happen.

Christmas Dinner on Christmas Day- Plans are underway to prepare our 12th annual free Christmas dinner to the public.  Signup sheets will be out starting Wednesday, December 10 to sign up for salads, desserts, and volunteer time to help prepare and serve the meal.  We will also need a cleanup crew.  The Menu: Ham, mashed potatoes, gravy, sage dressing, green beans/corn, sweet potatoes, salads, and of course Desserts!
